LAND BASED LODGES

Fly Fishing, only – Lodges

In addition to our floating accommodations, we operate three traditional fly fishing lodges along private rivers that are too shallow and rocky even for our River Trains to navigate but are home to a thrilling array of outsized jungle species.

What Lurks Among the Rocks

These clear, fast-moving, spring-fed rivers are unique in the Amazon for their high levels of oxygen, making them the most productive fisheries on the planet — and a perfect venue for sight fishing.

With well-presented flies, it’s not uncommon for anglers to catch 40 to 80 fish per day of up to five different species.

No Wading Required

Some Amazon fly fishing destinations require wading, often on treacherous cobbles and boulders. At our three fly fishing lodges, you can choose to fish from a conventional boat, walk easily traversed sandbars, or drift fish from a raft on certain streams.

Lodging Among the Lagoons

Along our 14 private rivers, we operate land-based lodges in three special areas where large numbers of lagoons concentrate peacock bass for incredible fishing during the lowest water. Historically, that has been in November and February, but timing varies and we fish these unique areas for just 60 days a year. The lagoons are often just steps from your room and never more than a 30-minute boat ride away.
